1. Observability introduction
cClear Network Observability provides real-time visibility into the behavior of your infrastructure and applications. It organizes packet and flow data according to configured services, locations, monitoring points, and protocol definitions to present structured views of network activity. These perspectives help you understand what is happening in your network, when it is happening, and where problems are occurring to support investigation of latency, connectivity, and quality issues.
1.1. High-level architecture
Observability dashboards present network activity at multiple levels of detail, from aggregated health and performance metrics to packet-level analysis. These views allow you to move from high-level trends to individual conversations and packet captures while maintaining investigative context.
The following diagram shows how packet data is collected and made available in cClear dashboards.
